From March 25 to 28, Caledon OPP took part in a province-wide Traffic Safety Initiative.
Over the course of the initiative, officers focused their attention to seat belts, as well as the other “Big 4” causes of collisions: speeding, impaired driving and distracted driving.
Over the weekend, police laid 14 charges for seatbelt infractions, six for distracted driving, 212 for speeding and four for impaired driving.
