Members of the OPP Under Water Search and Recovery Unit are still looking for a kayaker who went missing on the Credit River near Terra Cotta Sunday. Police report they were told about two kayaks found on the ice in the hamlet at about 3 p.m. The body of a woman, said to be in her early 20s, was pulled from the water down stream from where the kayaks were found, and police were busy Monday looking for her male companion. As of 5 p.m., they had not found anything.
