Parents, guardians and students of the Humberview Secondary School community got to check out the facility recently at the annual Grade 8 Parent Information Night. There was lots for them to see too, as various students were putting on demonstration of some of the programs offered. Grade 10 art students April Felske, Hannah Wang, Alicia Colosimo and Erin Foster were working on creations.

There were interesting things to see in the science labs. Teacher Ed Sestini showed Matthew Isetta, currently a student at Allan Drive Middle School, how to hold fire.

Dramatic arts students Eric Buote, Matt Jennison and Joey Penkala were putting on some entertaining demonstrations.

There was lots cooking in the family studies area. Tanisha Chouhan, Lauren O’Malley, Jason Kluge and Myles Pritchard were making cinnamon buns.
