Pan Am Torch passing through Saturday

After months of anticipation, the Pan Am Torch is due to arrive in Caledon Saturday.
It will be visiting several communities in town, before finally arriving at the Caledon Day festivities at Town Hall in Caledon East.
According to the current schedule from the Town, the first stop will be at 11:15 a.m. at the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park in Palgrave.
The plan is for it to head south for two stops in Bolton. One will be at the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness at 12:15 p.m.. At 1:45 p.m., it wil be passing through Caledon Farmers’ Market on Mill Street.
The next stop will be in Inglewood, as the Torch is scheduled to arrive at Lloyd Wilson Arena at 2:30 p.m.
It will then travel to Belfountain public School, due to arrive at 3:15 p.m.
After that, the Torch will be taken to the Alton Mill Arts Centre, and is slated to arrive at 3:45 p.m.
The final stop will be at the Caledon Day celebration, with the arrival time set for 5:45 p.m.
