Optimists are well known for volunteering their time, and some members of the Caledon Optimist Club recently received recognition for their contributions with the presentation of Ontario Volunteer Service Awards. Paul Reader received recognition for 30 years, Wayne Livingston for five years, Pat McCallum for 25 years and Ted Simmonds for 20 years. Jake Haines (25 years) and David Lambert (10 years) were absent for the picture.
