It will be June 29, starting at 6:30 p.m. There will be a presentation from 7 to 9 p.m. It will be at Brampton Fairgrounds, 12942 Heart Lake Rd.
The Ministry of Transportation is undertaking an Environmental Assessment (EA) for a proposed Transportation Corridor, which will include a 400-series highway and a transitway. The study area for the EA extends across south Caledon.
The Town is undertaking a land use study to identify locations for strategic employment lands along the Transportation Corridor. The Town has retained Meridian Planning to complete the study.
The purpose of the session is to introduce the project and gather community input on potential alternative locations for future employment land and criteria for evaluating the alternative locations.
