Nancy Erekar running for Greens

The Dufferin-Caledon Federal Green Party Association and the Green Party of Canada have announced that Nancy Erekar will be the Green candidate in this riding in this year’s federal election.
Erekar is the owner of ChicaBOOM Consignment Furniture, Fashion and Decor in Caledon village. She has lived in the area since 1987, where she raised her family.
She has a BA in sociology and an MBA from McMaster University. Before opening the consignment store, Erekar was a financial advisor with Assante Capital Management from 1996 to 2010. She recently became an official member of the Green Party of Canada and is ready now to represent the voters of Dufferin-Caledon in Ottawa.
She is promising to be Dufferin-Caledon’s voice in Ottawa, not Ottawa’s voice in Dufferin-Caledon.
