Man charged with stunt driving

A 44-year-old man from Amaranth is facing charges after Caledon OPP reports a suspected stunt driver was spotted on Highway 9 June 1.
Police report a Traffic Unit officer was conducting speed enforcement shortly after 1 p.m. and observed the driver of a GMC pick-up going 130 km-h in a posted 60 zone.
The man was charged with racing a motor vehicle. The truck was impounded for seven days.
