A 45-year-old Caledon man was arrested in Bolton early last Wednesday morning (June 22).
Caledon OPP reports officers were sent to investigate a suspicious vehicle on Lady Godiva Drive at the intersection with Ernest Biason Boulevard shortly after midnight.
Upon arrival, police located a white cargo van stopped at a stop sign. The engine was running, the lights were on and a man was slumped at the wheel. The officer determined that the driver was impaired by drugs and he was arrested.
He was charged with having care and control of a vehicle while impaired by drugs, possession of a schedule 1 substance (cocaine) and three counts of possession of other drugs.
