Man charged in collision

A 31-year-old man from Brampton is facing charges after a single-vehicle accident June 18.
Caledon OPP repots the incident took place shortly after 5 a.m. on Kennedy Road at King Street. On arriving at the scene, officers found a black Honda Civic in the ditch. They talked to the driver and saw many indications that he was impaired.
He was charged with having care and control of a car while impaired and with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system, as well as several offences under the Highway Traffic Act. The man’s licence was suspended on the spot and the car was impounded for seven days.
