Man arrested in gas station robbery

A 30-year-old man from Caledon has been charged in connection with a Dec. 30 robbery at a gas station in Palgrave.
Members from the Street Crime Unit and the Community Response Unit of Caledon OPP executed a search warrant at a Bolton home Jan. 8.
The investigation indicated that a lone male entered the store and demanded money from the attendant. The suspect brandished a pair of scissors and left the store with cash from the register. K-9 and members from the Emergency Response Team attended and assisted with the investigation.
As a result, the man was charged with robbery.
