Man arrested for having stolen licence plates

A 25-year-old Caledon man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
The charge was laid June 26 after an officer from Caledon OPP spotted a Pontiac Sunfire in the area of Regional Road 50 and Hopcroft Road in Bolton shortly before 4 p.m. The car had a licence that was held on by only one screw.
The officer stopped the car and learned that the attached plate had been reported stolen to the Caledon Detachment in December.
