Taylor Swift fans enjoyed an awesome night of music in Bolton last week.
On November 27, the Caledon Public Library (CPL) held “Open Mic Night (Taylor’s Version)” at its Albion Bolton branch.
Local musician Isabella Morency was the emcee for the evening, and participants enjoyed singing Taylor Swift hits all night long. Attendees also made Swiftie friendship bracelets, buttons and keychains.
There were more than 70 people at the event.
Melanie Alderfer-Mowat, a Coordinator of Communications and Cultural Development for the CPL, said the open mic night was a great success.
“The program highlighted ways in which CPL helps people build capacity to express themselves creatively through storytelling and the arts,” said Alderfer-Mowat. “At CPL, Caledon and nearby residents can access free learning resources and tools, spaces for exploration, and a welcoming and supportive community.”
