Keep the kids warm and entertained this season at PAMA

Children’s imaginations can be allowed to run wild this winter at the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA).
PAMA offers new, fun and educational programs and activities to keep the kids engaged during the chilly months.

Registered Programs
Kids Art and Book Club
This free program will be run in partnership with the Brampton Library. It will be a fun program where youngsters can show off their artistic and literary talents. Talk about some favourite books, create art masterpieces and more. Register in advance by calling the Brampton Library at 905-793-4636.
The program will run Feb. 27, March 27 and April 24 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Kids Sampler Workshop
This program will run Saturdays from March 1 to April 5 (except for March 15 during March break) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For children aged six to 12, and they will get the best of both worlds: art and history, involving drawing, painting, clay, toy making and innovative inventions. Each week, children will create an innovative and inspired piece. Allow the kids to explore, connect and create in a fun and educational setting.
The fee per session is $70 for non-members and $59.50 for members.
Break Out! P.A. Day
The Fine Art of Storytelling will be the focus of this March 7 program from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
From its earliest form as an oral tradition to what it is today, children will discuss how stories are told and will create stories of their own. The art of storytelling comes alive at PAMA as children discover their own narratives.
The fee is $35 for non-members and $29.75 for members.
There are also drop-in weekend afternoons with fun family activities inspired by exhibitions. Families can make and take home creative projects and inspired art.
As well, there will be activities for the kids during March break (March 10 to 14).
PAMA is a place to explore and learn about Peel Region’s culture and heritage, as well as use conversation, questions and stories to help make new and fascinating connections to the surrounding community. Throughout the year, PAMA offers a variety of workshops and programs for all ages, families and adults. With so many different programs to choose from, PAMA has something for everyone.
