Investigation leads to arrest

A 38-year-old man from Brampton is facing charges after a Caledon OPP investigation into the theft of gas cards from unlocked vehicles at the compounds of a Bolton transportation company.
Police report the investigation started Jan. 9 after the overnight theft. Information was received that the gas cards had been used in the Milton area and a positive identification was made. Officers from the Street Crime Unit began an investigation which resulted in the arrest of a male late last month.
He has been charged with fraud under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
