Innis to sit on ecoCaledon

Councillor Jennifer Innis will be the Town’s representative on ecoCaledon.
She will serve through the current term of council, which ends in 2018.
Donna Ferron, chair of ecoCaledon, mentioned in her email to the Town “the program offered with ecoCaledon promotes making changes in your Environmental foot print”.
Previous town representatives on ecoCaledon included Mayor Allan Thompson and former councillor Richard Paterak in the last term of council. The organization made the decision to change the number of representatives to one this term.
EcoCaledon is an environmental action group established in the early 1990s, incorporated in 2011. It promote local programs designated to educate, enhance and protect Caledon’s environment. Its mission is to provide environmental education that connects and engages residents of town toward more sustainable living.
