Impaired driving charge laid in Grey Highlands

A 57-year-old man from Caledon was charged June 12 after police stopped a suspected impaired driver in Grey Highlands.
Grey County OPP reports an office saw a 2006 Honda Civic weaving in the southbound lane on Grey Road 7 at about 8:30 p.m. The car was also travelling considerably less than the posted speed limit of 80 km-h.
When the driver pulled over, the officer noticed he was using the car door to help keep his balance.
He was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and have more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
