Home United Church had a large crowd at the Brampton Fair Grounds recently for their annual murder mystery fundraiser. The play was entitled Becky Sue Gets Married, and Councillor Gord McClure, as father of the bride, also once again served as victim. Others appearing (some as suspects) were Vinnie Dusk, Disc Jockey DJ Sparkles (Rev. Margaret MacDonald), the groom’s grandfather (Brian Neely), groom’s father (Glen Keyes), groom’s mother (Sherry Hunt), best man (Dave Snyder), the groom (Sascha Ellis), the bride (Erin Crawford-Ellis), maid of honour (Melanie Reinhart), bride’s mother (Lynn Carr-Sumilas), murder victim McClure, bride’s grandmother (Vickie Forsyth), master of ceremonies (Bonnie Neely), bride’s Aunt Katie (Lisa Garbutt) and Aunt Kitty (Marsha Christie), Pastor Tommy (Tom Dolson) and Wedding Planner Lady Zha Zha (Betty Hanson).
