The Frank Cowan Company Home Town Program, along with local broker Secure Insurance, is contributing $5,000 to Artful Caledon, a program that offers young artists the opportunity to create and display their works throughout the Caledon Public Library network.
“Art should be accessible to everyone in a community,” Mayor Allan Thompson said. “With our extensive library network, this generous gift will enhance quality of life throughout Caledon.”
“The Home Town Program was created to provide assistance to municipal initiatives such as Artful Caledon,” Frank Cowan Company President Larry Ryan said. “This is a great opportunity to promote personal enjoyment, intellectual stimulation and public involvement through art.”
“One of our key goals is to foster the creativity of local youth through innovative programming,” Caledon Public Library Board Chair Janet Manning commented. “The Artful Caledon project will provide time and space for our budding artists to create and display their work.”
“We are proud to partner with the Frank Cowan Company and their Home Town Program,” Secure Insurance Solutions Group Inc. Partner and Vice-President Patrick Molloy said. “For us, it is a great opportunity to assist in the promotion of grass roots initiatives that encourage, foster and promote the arts community.”
