Have you seen Zambo?

April 18, 2015   ·   0 Comments

16-dog - 2.75Zambo is a prize-winning French bulldog who went missing from his home in the area of Highway 50 and Rutherford Road in Vaughan at about 9 a.m. April 14.
His owner Richard Rockford said Zambo, who will be three next month, is a loving pet, as well as a champion show dog. He was the top French Bulldog in Canada in 2014 and placed fourth in 2013. As well, he holds three titles (Canadian Champion, Canadian Grand Champion and American Champion), as well as numerous other honours.
“It is unlike him to just run away, and we have spent the last four days searching for him in our immediate and surrounding areas with help from family, friends and community members,” Rockford stated Saturday. “We have friends with scent-tracking dogs that, unfortunately, have not been able to find him, but have found some fresh paw prints and dog excrement at a nearby location.”
He also suggested Zambo might have been lured off the property, although he added it’s possible he just wandered off and was picked up by someone concerned for his safety.
A reward is being offered for anyone returning Zambo, and there will be no questions asked.
Rockford is also asking people not to call, chase or whistle at Zambo, as that might scare him off.
Rockford can be reached at 416-277-2429.
