Humberview Secondary School in Bolton was a very busy place recently. It was the site of the Humberview Advantage Open House, allowing Grade 8 students in the community and their parents to see what goes on in high schools. This Jazz Combo consisted of Dylan Singh on drums, Eric Deare on trumpet, Matt Vainer on clarinet, Matt Boettger on keyboard, Zack Clifford on guitar and George Kell on bass.
Grade 12 student Erica D’Alessandro was demonstrating the dissecting of a frog in the science section.
Grade 11 student Duncan McDonald was demonstrating some of the things done in the wood shop.
Art students Clayton Zdan and Elza Rozenbergs were busy on creations.
Members of the Alpha Dogs Robotics Club had a display set up, complete with this creation. It was being shown by Cale Cyr, Stephen Woudre, Liam James, Matthew Reynolds and Matthew Niedoba.
The drama department was putting on some improv acting. Jason Hunter and Aden Altamirand were portraying an airplane and air traffic controller.
