This November and December, Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) is offering workshops for the entire family.
The workshops have been inspired by Transform, Distort, Warp, Explode! A Survey of Work by Lizz Aston, an exhibition in the Art Gallery that explores traditional crafts such as crochet and paper cutting in creative works on paper. Spend some quality time with the family and let creativity run wild.
PAMA also offers workshops for adults 16 and older. Take some time for yourself or enjoy a day with friends and family to explore your creative side.
Fibre-based artist Lizz Aston will lead a full-day workshop from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 13, exploring polychromatic screen printing to produce water-colour like images on paper and cloth. Based on her PAMA exhibition, Aston will assist participants to explore both silk-screening and painting techniques to print multiple colours in a one-step process.
