Caledon Community Services (CCS) was the beneficiary Sunday night of a charity hockey game featuring a team from Garden Foods in Bolton taking on a squad from Caledon OPP. The evening ended with the presentation of a cheque for $10,000 to CCS.
Garden Foods proprietor Piero Carbone, who had moments earlier taken a pie in the face from one of his OPP opponents, took the ceremonial face-off with Constable Mike Scanlan. Mayor Marolyn Morrison dropped the puck.
