Fun celebration to welcome Santa Claus to Caledon village

The Caledon Village Association had a big crowd out Saturday night to help welcome Santa Claus. The festivities included a parade through the streets of the village. James Dick Construction Limited provided his transportation.

The mascot from Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School in Caledon East was among those taking part in the parade.
Caledon’s Town Crier Andrew Welch was in fine form Saturday.
Knox United Church hosted festivities after the parade and tree lighting. Santa took some time to talk to his many friends, like Luc Turgeon, 4, of Forks of the Credit.
Representatives of the Caledon Town Hall Players were riding along the parade route on this float.
Musicians from Mayfield Secondary School were providing some of the music in the parade.
The Caledon Lions Club entered this float in the parade.
