Fire and Ice prominent at Alton Mill

The fifth annual Fire and Ice festival brought crowds out recently to the Alton Mill Arts Centre. The weekend included numerous artistic demonstrations and displays from some of the resident artists. Flower arranger Karen Cal of Inglewood put on this colourful demonstration. Photos by Bill Rea

There was musical entertainment at the festival. Jazz and funk rock sounds were provided by the Shaw’s Creek Band of Guelph, made up of Josiah Miller on keyboard, Matt Morgan on guitar, Isaac Grant on drums and Simon Pequegnat on bass.
