FINDING THINGS TO DO FOR PD DAY

A lot of the local school kids had the day off Monday so their teachers could have a professional development day. But there were lots of things going on for them to do. The Town put on a free snowshoeing session at Caledon Village Place in the morning. Michelle Willison of Caledon East and her daughter Lauren, 7, were giving it a try for the first time. The Palgrave United Community Kitchen was a busy place as young folks were working on food-based programs. Breanna Hifawi, 10, Kristi Bier, 11, and Evelyn Hesjedahl, 9, were busy washing these apples before using them to make something.
