Farmers’ Markets open for another year It’s that time of year again, to check out locally-grown produce at the Farmers’ Markets in the community. Last Saturday (June 8) saw the opening of the Caledon Farmers’ Market at the Albion-Bolton Fairgrounds. Councillor Patti Foley, representing Mayor Marolyn Morrison, welcomed shoppers, accompanied by Councillor Richard Whitehead, Dufferin-Caledon MPP Sylvia Jones, Councillors Rob Mezzapelli and Allan Thompson, Dufferin-Caledon MP David Tilson and Caledon Town Crier Andrew Welch. The Inglewood Farmers’ Market opened for another year on the east side of McLaughlin Road in the hamlet last Wednesday.
