Caledon residents are invited to celebrate Earth Hour 2025 together at the Caledon East Community Complex.
From 6 to 10 p.m. the Town of Caledon, Caledon Public Library, ecoCaledon and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority have a number of fun activities planned.
From 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the library there will be hands-on activities, live makerspace demos and flashlight storytime.
From 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority will lead a guided night walk on the Caledon Trailway.
There will be a magic show at 6:30 p.m., yoga at 7 p.m. and a community paint-by-numbers Earth Hour art piece to contribute to.
The event will also feature a sustainable vendor showcase, eco-friendly giveaways and prizes, and snacks and treats throughout the evening.
All who attend the event are invited to “Pledge for the Planet” and commit to a sustainable action for the year.
“Earth Hour is more than just turning off the lights – it’s a moment of unity that shines a spotlight on the urgent need to address climate change and protect our planet. Together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future,” says the Town in a statement.
