Mayfield Secondary School
Jennah Rampersaud
This Grade 12 student has been showing her skills as point guard on the senior girls’ basketball team, which made it to the semifinals, losing by one point to Glenforest Secondary School from Mississauga. She’s also part of the senior volleyball team, and their season is about to start. Away from school, she plays rep basketball in the Caledon Cougars organization. The 17-year-old lives in Bolton with her parents Romeena and Jason Rampersaud.
Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School
Sarah Trilesky
This 15-year-old played defence and special teams on the varsity flag football team. She’s also planning to add her talents to the defence of the varsity hockey team, which has started practices, and she’s hoping the school will have a lacrosse team this year, as well as planning to go out for track. In the community, she plays rep hockey for the Brampton Canadettes and lacrosse with the Guelph Regals. The Grade 10 student lives in the Belfountain area with her parents Linda and Ken Trilesky.
St. Michael Catholic Secondary School
Justin D’Angela
The Grade 10 student plays goal for the junior hockey team, which compiled a 2-1 record in the first three games of the campaign, and he’s contributed one shutout to the cause. He also plans to play third base on the school’s baseball team in the spring. In the community, he plays AA hockey in Woodbridge and AA baseball in Thornhill. The 15-year-old lives in Bolton with his parents Sabrina and John D’Angela.
Humberview Secondary School
Ryan Yeager
This 17-year-old plays off side on the senior boys’ volleyball team, which made it to the AAA ROPSSAA tournament. He also used to play basketball at school. In the community, he plays volleyball with the Peel Selects and rep basketball for the Caledon Cougars. The Grade 12 student lives in Bolton with his parents Debra and Doug Yeager.
