Council proclaims Day of Mourning coming this Saturday

This Saturday (April 26) will recognized as the Day of Mourning in Caledon, in recognition of workers who have been killed and injured on the job.
Mayor Marolyn Morrison signed the proclamation Tuesday after Town council agreed to the request from the Canadian Labour Congress.
The motion passed by council noted the Town is committed to a safe and healthy workplace which ensures people are safe at all times while on the job.
