Hampton Hotels, the global brand of more than 1,900 mid-priced Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn and Suites and Hampton by Hilton hotels worldwide, has broken ground on its newest GTA property in Bolton.
The 95-room Bolton Hampton Inn and Suites will have standard double rooms as well as suites for special occasions or longer stays. Located at 12700 Highway 50, the Bolton Hampton Inn and Suites is owned by Sam Mand of Mand Hospitality. It will be within walking distance to local shops, restaurants and businesses.
“The Hampton Inn represents a perfect fit for the Caledon community, serving as an ideal place to stay for visiting business executives, a great stay for weekend tourists, and special events such as weddings,” Mayor Marolyn Morrison observed. “Having such a powerful brand name hotel in the Town of Caledon will greatly boost our ability to attract business and recreation oriented events.”
The hotel’s construction will take approximately one year, with a grand opening set for summer 2014. When completed the hotel is expected to bring 20 jobs to the Caledon area.
