Complex name changing; slightly

The Caledon Community Complex in Caledon East is soon to have a name change, but it’s not a major one.
It will be known as the Caledon East Community Complex.
Town councillors recently approved the name change with little debate.
The motion was brought forward by Councillor Jennifer Innis, who indicated she was trying to reduce confusion, pointing out many people already refer to the facility using the words “Caledon East.”
“If you listen to the public, they all call it the Caledon East Community Complex,” Mayor Allan Thompson observed.
