Community welcomes Stanley Cup and Dan Carcillo Residents and visitors turned out by the hundreds to catch a glimpse of Canada’s most prestigious sports icon, the Stanley Cup. Dan Carcillo, of the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, returned home to King City Sunday to a hero’s welcome. In case you missed the Cup, it will return this Sunday to Schomberg with Chicago assistant coach Mike Kitchen. They’ll be at the Trisan Centre from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Photo by Jeff Doner

Residents and visitors turned out by the hundreds to catch a glimpse of Canada’s most prestigious sports icon, the Stanley Cup. Dan Carcillo, of the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, returned home to King City Sunday to a hero’s welcome.
