The weather was great recently for the annual Inglewood Day celebrations. The sounds of The Shift provided some of the musical entertainment at Inglewood Day. The group consists of Steve Grodzuik, Al Smail, Jeff Graham, Gary Hoag and Dave Robertson.

Things started in the usual way, with the parade down the main street of the hamlet. The participants included these young folks, pretending they were beach bums.
Youngsters were anxious to get their faces or arms painted. Kalleigh Mattine, 4, of Inglewood was a watching as Erin resident Kaitlyn Lister painted a design for her sister Melinda, 7.
They didn’t have a dunk tank at Inglewood Day, but they did the next best thing; namely getting volunteers to sit while people threw balls, trying to break the water balloon suspended above their heads. If nothing else, Taryn Edmond, 10, got a chance to cool off.
