A tip from a concerned citizen led to a 58-year-old man from Nepean facing charges.
Caledon OPP reports an officer doing traffic enforcement on Highway 10 April 23 was approached by a citizen, who reported an erratic driver.
The officer was able to find the white Ford Escape and pull it over. In talking to the driver, the officer concluded he was under the influence of alcohol, so he demanded a breath sample. The man registered a fail.
He was charged with driving with more than the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
His licence was suspended for 90 days on the spot, and the car was impounded for seven days.
