About the only thing that was lacking recently at St. Cornelius Elementary School in Caledon East was elbow room. The halls and gym were packed with tables manned by vendors and patrons looking for items of interest at the Christmas Market Place. Santa Claus was popular, and lots of youngsters were anxious to meet him, including Abigail Hedges, 4, and her brother Rowan, 7, of Caledon East.

Patti Visser of L.O.V. Creations in Mono received some help from her daughter Leah as they were displaying a collection of hand-made ornaments.
Diana Carozza of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate sponsored the appearance of the Minions at the market.
Rehmat Dhillon, 3, of Caledon and her sister Mahi, 2, were pretty intrigued with some of the items they found at the table being run by Albion Hills Community Farm.
It seems that everybody wanted to spend time with the Minions. Alex Smith of Albion brought his children Harper and Alex.
Members of the St. Cornelius School Council involved in organizing the event included Ana Contente, Michelle Simone, Loretta DeGrazia, Brenda Giardetti and Carol Caprara.
