As part of their Celebrate Local Authors campaign, Caledon Public Library will be hosting Stopping By Mill on a Poetry Evening (with apologies to Robert Frost).
It will be Nov. 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Alton Mill Arts Centre. It will be part of the Mill’s ongoing series, Culture Cafe.
Eight award-winning Caledon poets will be strutting their metaphorical stuff, including Harry Posner, Patricia Lawrence, Lisa Watson, Jim Scott, Judy Zarowny, Britta Elmberg, Mark Grice and Elaine Coish. There will also be gypsy jazz music courtesy of Will Devonshire and munchies by Shaw’s Creek Café. Tickets are free, but should be reserved by contacting any branch of the Caledon Library.
