Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized for being an awesome Caledon citizen?
Now’s the time to brag!
Nominate them for a spot on Caledon’s Walk of Fame. The nomination deadline is Aug. 2 at 4:30 p.m.
The Caledon Walk of Fame was initiated in 1999 to honour past and present Caledon residents who have made a significant contribution to the quality of life locally, nationally and internationally.
The Walk of Fame is in the Trans Canada Trail Pavilion Park on the west side of Airport Road in Caledon East. A stone is placed in honour of each recipient during a formal Walk of Fame ceremony, held annually when there is a qualifying nominee.
Categories include Arts and Culture; Sports and Leisure; Philanthropic and Humanitarian Causes; and the Environment. Other contributions may be considered as submitted.
Nomination forms should be submitted to the Office of the Mayor, Town of Caledon, 6311 Old Church Rd., Caledon East, ON L7C 1J6.
All nomination forms must be submitted to the Town of Caledon by 4:30 p.m. Aug. 2. Nomination forms are available online at www.caledon.ca, from the Community Services Department at Town Hall, or by calling 905-584-2272, ext. 4804.
