Caledon’s advanced polls have been busy

The first two advanced polls in Caledon have led to strong voter turnout.
A total of 1,634, or 3.52 per cent of eligible voters, have already placed their votes.
The Town reports there are 46,460 eligible voters in Caledon.
The turn out at the advanced polls so far representsx an increase over the 2010 election, when 2.89 per cent of voters had placed ballots, and over 2006 numbers when just 376 people voted in the first two advance polls.
Two more advanced poll opportunities will be taking place before Election Day: Today (Thursday) and tomorrow from noon to 8 p.m. The advanced poll locations are Caledon Central Public School (Ward 1), Margaret Dunn Library in Valleywood (Ward 2) and Albion-Bolton Community Centre for Wards 3, 4 and 5.
