Caledon East churches mark ‘Unity’

January 13, 2016   ·   0 Comments

The congregations of St. James’ Anglican Church and Caledon East United Church in Caledon East will hold joint services this Sunday (Jan. 17) and next Sunday (Jan. 24) to mark the week for Christian Unity.
“All too often, Christians forget they share a common foundation and argue about their differences,” observed Canon Mark Tiller, incumbent of St. James’. “Instead, we should be celebrating our diversity within the context of our common bond. The Week for Christian Unity is a wonderful opportunity for Christians to come together to do just that.”
Tiller of St. James and Pastor Warren Ball of Caledon East United hope all will join them and their congregations.
The Jan. 17 service will be at St. James’, starting at 11 a.m., and the following Sunday will be at Caledon East United at 10 a.m.
