Caledon.ca launches online burn permits

As of May 1, Caledon residents can skip the lineup and apply for Town burn permits at www.caledon.ca/fire
Applicants will be asked to set up a secure online profile to obtain their burn permit for approved areas. Yearly renewals will be quick and easy through the portal as burn permit holders will be able to renew online.
For residents living in a rented property or structure, the property owner must complete and sign the Property Owner’s Permission to Burn Form, which can be found online at www.caledon.ca/fire and must be submitted in person or faxed to 905-584-4326 before a permit can be issued.
Residents looking to apply for agricultural burn permits must contact Caledon Fire and Emergency Services at 905-584-2272, ext. 4303, or email fireprevention@caledon.ca, to schedule an inspection. Before a permit is issued, an inspection must be completed.
This online feature is part of the Town of Caledon’s commitment to continuous improvements to customer service. All eServices have now been gathered at www.caledon.ca/eservices for constant access.
