A non-profit supporting Caledon families and children has a new home online.
On October 16, BrightStart Caledon Family Centre launched its new website: www.brightstartcaledon.com.
The website is a key part of BrightStart Caledon’s rebrand — the non-profit was formerly known as the Caledon Parent-Child Centre.
BrightStart Caledon has rebranded as part of its effort to expand its reach and further its work with families and children in Caledon.
Shelly Ives, BrightStart Caledon’s Manager of Community Relations and Volunteers, says it’s all about connecting with the community.
“As the cornerstone agency for children and families in Caledon, the aim of the website refresh is to make it easy for our growing community to know who we are, what we do and how to find us,” wrote Ives in a media release.
She explained that as Caledon is growing and more families are coming to raise their children here. As such, requests for BrightStart Caledon programs and services have increased in demand, complexity and diversity.
Ives said BrightStart Caledon’s website has a fresh look and user-friendly navigation that will help families find all the information they need about BrightStart Caledon’s free programs, services and supports.
“We are thrilled to unveil our new website to the public and provide an enhanced online experience for our valued families and community partners,” said Ives. “The site’s improved
navigation and ease of use reflects our dedication to supporting the needs of our community’s children, parents and caregivers.”
There are a number of key features on the new website, such as enhanced accessibility features. There’s improved site navigation, translation services, and an easy-to-use contact page.
There’s also a new location page that details BrightStart Caledon’s sites, hours of operation, programs and events.
Another addition to the site is a “Discover BrightStart Caledon” page where visitors can receive an overview of what BrightStart Caledon can offer their family.
Ives encourages all parents and caregivers with young children in Caledon to check out BrightStart Caledon’s new website. Those interested can subscribe to email newsletters on the website to keep up with all things BrightStart Caledon.
