Alton Fire Hall was the scene of an open house Saturday morning in recognition of October being Fire Prevention Month. Firefighter Tim Rowe was working on cooking the sausage.
Captain Don Rea was busying serving pancakes to the hungry visitors, including to his father Bill Rea, who lives in Mono.
