Two 16-year-olds from Brampton are facing multiple charges following a “weapon-related incident” at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School on Tuesday.
“On November 19, 2024, shortly after 1:00 p.m., officers responded to a weapon-related incident involving two youths at Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School,” said the Caledon OPP in a statement. “To ensure everyone’s continued safety, the school was placed into lockdown shortly after 1:30 p.m. No injuries were sustained as a result of the situation.
“The Caledon OPP Community Street Crime Unit, Caledon OPP Major Crime Unit, OPP Central Region Canine Unit, and OPP Emergency Response Team, are assisting with the investigation. Two youths were taken into custody. The lockdown was lifted just before 3:30 p.m.”
Following the investigation, two teens were charged.
The first is facing the following charges: possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose; trafficking in firearm, weapon, device or ammunition; unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm; and failure to comply with undertaking.
