A 36-year-old man from Brampton is facing a couple of charges after his vehicle ended up in a ditch in Bolton Feb. 26.
Caledon OPP reports they were called to the scene on Healey Road shortly after 11 p.m. When officers spoke to the driver, they detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath, as well as other signs that he was impaired by alcohol.
After he was arrested, police search the vehicle and found a small quantity of drugs, believed to be marijuana.
The man was charged with having care and control of a vehicle while impaired, and while having more then the legal limit of alcohol in his system. He was also charged with drug possession.
His licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven.
