BELFOUNTAIN VOTES Belfountain Public School Grade 5 students Enya Waters and Alex Goulding were getting in some practice voting in anticipation of last week’s provincial election. Students from Grades 2 to 6 were filled in on the positions of the various parties before being allowed to cast ballots. Their version of the election was held a week before the real thing, but the results were withheld until after the polls had closed for real. New Democrat Rehya Yazbek was in the lead among the students with 33 votes, followed by 29 for Green Party candidate Karren Wallace, 18 for Liberal Bobbie Daid, 13 for Progressive Conservative Sylvia Jones and nine for Libertarian candidate Daniel Kowalewski.
