Auditions coming for play in Shelburne

The Tipling Stage Company is holding open auditions Jan. 4 at 2 p.m.at Grace Tipling Hall in Shelburne for parts in But Why Bump Off Barnaby? a hilarious mystery-farce by Rick Abott, directed by Jean Jardine Miller.
The company will be casting four men and six women of various ages. Some characters should be British or able to do an upper class British accent. Others are American or British expats living in America and two can be any nationality.

They need to know how many people to expect, and those auditioning will be asked to do a cold read from the script.
Rehearsals will be Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 8 to March 22, with tech week March 23 to 26 (preview night) and performances are March 27 and 28 at 8 p.m. and March 28 and 29 at 2 p.m.
