Mayfield Secondary School Toure Nwakwesi This 15-year-old played power on the senior boys’ volleyball team that made it to the ROPSSAA finals earlier this year. He’s also played shooting guard for the varsity basketball team. Outside of school, he plays rep volleyball with Pakmen Volleyball Club in Mississauga. The Grade 10 student lives in Brampton. His parents are Dorett Nwakwesi and Noel Richards

Robert F. Hall Catholic Secondary School Pam Garcia This Grade 12 student played power for the varsity volleyball squad at school, and they made it to the semifinals of their league. She also a member of Team Unbreakable at Hall. She used to play rep volleyball with Acts Elites. The 17-year-old lives in Mono. Her parents are Cristina and Julio Garcia.

Humberview Secondary School Cameron Thompson This Grade 12 student qualified for ROPSSAA in badminton. His other school contributions include organizing the nordic skiing team, and cross-country skiing in which, despite a shortened season, he did well at the Ontario high school championships. He also runs cross-country in the fall. Out of school, he plays house-league hockey in Caledon East. The 17-year-old lives in Bolton with his parents Maureen and David Thompson.
