Arrests made in multi-jurisdictional break and enter investigation

Officers from the Caledon and Wellington OPP Street Crime Units, as well as the Halton Property Crime Unit, executed a warrant Aug. 26 at a Caledon residence with the assistance from the OPP Tactical Response Unit and OPP Emergency Response Team members.
The warrant was issued following a multi-jurisdictional investigation involving the Caledon, Wellington and Dufferin OPP detachments as well as Halton Regional Police, Shelburne Police Service and Orangeville Police Service.
While executing the warrant, officers located stolen lottery tickets, stolen cigarettes, a small quantity of marijuana plants, a pellet gun and cash registers.
A 22-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested and charged with 12 counts of break and enter, 16 counts of breach of probation, nine counts of breach of recognizance, producing a Schedule I substance and possession of property obtained by crime.
A 23-year-old Caledon man was charged with 12 counts of break and enter, 18 counts of breach of recognizance, possession of break-in instruments, possession of a Schedule I substance, fraud under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
Another Caledon man, 19, was charged with 12 counts of break and enter, producing a Schedule I substance and possession of property obtained by crime.
