Area residents on hand at the Royal Winter Fair

December 1, 2017   ·   0 Comments

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair runs this week in Toronto, and a lot of area residents are taking part, showing their animals, produce or other wares. Tullamore Angus Farm had a very successful time at the recent 2017 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Angus Show, placing first in two classes and second in three others. The event was highlighted by showing the Reserve Junior Champion Female and the Junior Champion Bull, pictured above, with the owner Bill Jackson on the left holding the Junior Champion Banner and Mitch Hennakam on the halter of SCC Bando 17D.

Tracy Juraske, of Naquabi Boer Goats of Palgrave, was taking care of Naquabi Sandy.

David and Joanne Currie of Flightpath Registered Shorthorns near Victoria transported several of their animals for showing. Their daughter Jessica Stevens and her nephew Oliver Ruetz, 5, are seen here with Flightpath Nicole Emmo, a shorthorn showing in the heifer class.

Teen Ranch staff members Jillian Andress and Helena Maz had lots of information to hand out about the facility on Highway 10 in Caledon.

Caledon’s Soup Girl Jennifer Clark was offering samples of her split pea creation at her booth at the Royal.
